Avidemux version 2.4 and higher offers 3 user interfaces: GTK+(nbsp)UI, Qt(nbsp)UI and a command-line interface. All three versions are officially supported and included in the Avidemux source code, there are no plans to drop any one of them.
The two GUIs are described on separate pages:
Main window - GTK+ version(nbsp)(ndash) this is the original Avidemux GUI, suitable for Linux/BSD systems with the GNOME, Xfce or LXDE desktop environments.
Main window - Qt version(nbsp)(ndash) this is the default GUI for the official Microsoft Windows builds. KDE(nbsp)4 users may prefer it, too, since KDE(nbsp)4 is based on Qt(nbsp)4.
